Kent | 'So You Think Kent Has Talent' Seeks Contestants; Registration Deadline April 30

Contestants have until April 30 to record is to initial "So You Think Kent Has Talent" contest orderly by the Allegro Performing Arts Academy of Kent.

The rough gift turn is at 3 p.m. May 7 at the Allegro Performing Arts Academy, 1209 Central Ave. S.

The finals are at 6:30 p.m. May 21 at the Kent-Meridian High School Performing Arts Center, 10020 S.E. 256th St. Tickets are $10 is to finals.

The talent contest has 3 age categories:

Youth (12 and younger), Teen (13-19) and Adult (20 and older). There are considerable money prizes interjection to the goodwill of local businesses. All variety of talent are acquire to participate.

The rough certificate will slight the contestants down to 5 acts per age division. The 15 finalists will perform at the May 21 showcase and will vie is to Grand Prize amount of $1,000. Other money prizes are as follows: First place in any age section earns $500, second place $250 and third place $100.

The winners moreover will perform at Kent's Fourth of July Splash at Lake Meridian Park and at Kent Cornucopia Days together with the Kent Cornucopia parade.
